Footpath Construction

We offer a very wide variety of high quality footpath services including upland and lowland footpath design, construction and maintenance.

Specific areas of expertise include:

• entirely hand-built upland footpaths using natural materials
• building upland footpaths using machines (digger up to 3 tonnes)
• constructing lowland footpaths using a variety of techniques
• installing features such as boardwalks, viewing platforms and timber and steel bridges

Footpath Consultancy

As well as building footpaths, we can help others facilitate projects by drawing up specification surveys for footpath construction and by producing feasibility studies to assist community groups with funding applications for footpath networks.
We will also assist with contract management from design to implementation. We can provide either a ‘design and build’ service or we can supervise contracts with other contractors on your behalf.
